Q. How to I bid to buy my Dad a day?
A. Bidding is easy! Follow these simple steps to get you on your way.
Register for Buy Dad A Day.
Click on the Register / Log In button to the right of the screen
Under the Register title enter your personal details and click Register to continue.
Choose the gift experience you are most interested in.
You can view the experiences by clicking on the Buy Dad A Day link above.
Simply click on the experience you'd like to find out more about.
Read more about the chosen experience.
Look through the description to make sure it's just right for your Dad. And why not review several experiences before you make your final choice?
Make your bid!
Once you've settled on the experience you'd like to bid for, enter the amount of your bid on the bid box, making sure it exceeds the current bid by at least £5. Some expericences have reserves prices which need to be met before you can snap up the experience.
Then click Bid Now. If you are the highest bidder at that point the message above will change to "Congratulations, you are the highest bidder". You will also receive an email confirming the bid.
Q. How do I know if I am still the highest bidder?
A. An email will confirm your status as the current highest bidder. You'll receive another email if you are outbid. At that point you can revisit the site to bid again.You can also visit the site at any time to log in and check the status of your bid.

Q. What happens when the auction finishes?
A.At the end of the auction at 5pm on 17th June 2009, the successful bidder for each experience will receive confirmation by email, with instructions on how to pay and claim the experience for their Dad. You will receive a winner's certificate which you can print out and give to your Dad for father's day.
Q. What do I do if I am having problems using the website?
A. Simply email info@buydadaday.com and someone will come back to you as soon as possible.
